Our bird photo tours visit many of the same places as traditional birding tours, but we take as much time as we need to make photographs instead of trying to see as many species as possible. Every tour is led by an accomplished bird photographer, Laura L Fellows, whose images illustrate our website. The goal of each tour is to photograph a wide variety of birds in many different natural habitats. To that end, every tour is accompanied by an expert birding guide who finds and identifies subjects for our photography. While on tour, we stay in fine eco-lodges and hotels typically located in or near natural habitats. We currently offer bird/wildlife photo tours to Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Panama.
Feel free to call any time. Laura personally handles all calls unless she is on tour. She is happy to discuss equipment and techniques with you before as well as during our tours. Many participants benefit from hearing Laura's approach to composition, variable lighting conditions, fill flash, and photography of hummingbirds, flying birds, and forest birds.
